(Image: Katy Elliot) Mother's day is coming up and i decided to bake my mom a cake for the big day. It was my first time using fondant and gumpaste and might I add that it was extremely HARD! After 6 long hours of baking, icing, molding, kneeding, dying, and decorating...i finally did it! I made my very first fondant cake! It is a little messy but keep in mind that I have never used that type of icing before.
